New Friends and crochet

Hello my friends.
Today has been a great day. I met a new fellow crochet/yarn addict. It was nice to meet someone who has as much as yarn as I do. LOL We had a great visit, crochet, talked yarn and had all sorts of fun. My new friend has made many beautiful crocheted creations. She has inspired me to start delving into some difficult stitches that I've been shying away from. I can't wait to see what I come up with. Thank you again Amy for the great time! See you soon!
But with my simple stitches that I use, my new love is crocheting tank tops and sun dresses. I've never crochet any clothing before but necassity is the mother of invention. Last week I was baby sitting my friends two children, when the youngest, a five year old girl, had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Necassity is the mother of invention I always say, so I whipped out my yarn and crochet up a super cute tank top, no pattern needed. I'm not much for following patterns because I just get confused sometimes, so I just made it up as I went and it turned out so cute. My friends little girl was so happy with it as well. Here's a few pictures.




I am making a sun dress for my sisters little girl now and its turning out just as cute.

Okay, I better get to sleep, I've got an early day tomorrow. More baby sitting fun!
