Hi, I'm Windy. I'm a California girl born and raised. I adore the beach, orange blossoms, the mountains, a comfy pair of flip flops, my dog, my friends and my family.
I have lived in the same town my whole life but have traveled all over the world.
I think children can teach us the most important lessons in life. Photography is a hobby of mine & a part time job. I'm a freelance photographer. I love to capture a moment. I LOVE YARN! I'm most happy when I am doing anything creative or crafty, whether it's writing, photography, drawing, painting, decopodge or crocheting beanies, purses, bags & scarves. I love making things with my hands.
I am a friendly, silly, clumbsy, creative, messy, caring, huggable, beachy, swirly, optimistic, nurturing, happy, compassionate, grateful, indulgent, spontanious, sparkley, colorful, thoughtful, often barefoot, sensitive, warm, tough, flip flop wearing, dorky, talkative, giggly, intuitive, flowery, lovable, caffiene addicted, helpful, soft, family oriented, magical, sweet, spicey, genuine, free spirit.
Loves, hugs and Pixie dust!
Endlessly – By Anuhea An up and coming singer/song writer from Hawaii. She is truly amazing so I just had to share.
Endless hours and days, wasted away Endless thoughts and words, I'm sure How long will you live, this way Never knowing what's just around the bend
'Cause you trust that you won't make it 'Cause you hate to make mistakes And your life has been nothing but struggles And the silly round rings
And the world can be so cold so So you bathe in all the lies You submit yourself to society When it rains you'll cry And on and on, endlessly you try
When you're traveling down that road Attempting to fit in some sort of mold Put a brick on the gas and steer, just steer Straight through all your fears Towards all you hold dear Only you Hold your destiny Only you Know it's meant to be 'Cause you've tried to maintain You tried to uphold To the standards they set For the soul that you sought
And you trust in all of your memories 'Cause you've learned from your mistakes And your life will hold all the answers To where you will lay
And the world can be so cold I know So keep warm inside that smile Just commit yourself to your happiness When it rains you'll cry And on and on, endlessly you try Endlessly you try Yeah, yeah Endless hours and days, wasted away Endless thoughts and words, I'm sure How long will you live, this way Never knowing what's just around the bend
Here she is performing it live. Its beautiful...

Today is one of those days of reflection. I am peaceful as I reflect on my past, present and future. Not everything is perfect and it rarely is but that doesn't phase me. All we can do is try our best and be happy with what we have. "On and on endlessly you try..." In hard times, when the world has bogged me down and chaos seems to reign, I try to remember myself. When life gets confusing and all seems lost, its best to just stop everything and get back to yourself. Find yourself again and do what truly makes you happy without trying to fit into a someone elses mold. Remember, molds are made to break out of. This is your life and your the only one who can live it. Make the most of it and be true to you.
Thank you Anuhea for writing a song that I can truly ~feel~ to the center of my soul.
I love taking pictures of natural colors and textures that exist in nature. There is so much beauty to find in the little things. The small things that help make up our world. Here are a few examples.
Oh how I love my rainbow socks they always brighten my day with each step I take a cheer they do make, they seem to shout out hooray!
And when I'm wearing my rainbow socks all colors seem to reflect. The sky is more blue, the flowers more true, and the green of the grass is so fresh.
Sometimes I wear my rainbow socks to bed and believe it or not when I dream I see many bright colors in a world like no other with sparkles that shine like moon beams.
I love my rainbow socks they have a magic that is real, and if you don't believe me why don't you get a pair.

Strange USA is a website that has so called haunted locations. Now some may be haunted but I am not sure all of them on the website are. Its all speculation. When I looked up my home town of Corona, CA I found some places on there. Places I had been to numerous times. So I added my own peice of information to the date base. Here is a copy of my post about the so called haunted Mabey canyon. There is a strangeness too it and that has to do with all of the old cars on their side that are used as a retaining wall. Those cars have been there for over fifty years.Who put them there and how they did it is a mystery. Why someone decided to use those old cars like that, who knows? Strange... Heres a copy of my post.
Here's a direct link to the website. http://www.strangeusa.com/ViewLocation.aspx?locationid=58945&desc= Mabey Canyon Corona Ca
As a teenager, Mabey Canyon was just another cool place to go party. We would drive up the road which goes into the hills of the Cleaveland National Forest. We wouldn't go all the way up the dirt road, we would just go to where the paved road ends and the road kind of opens up there. Its really secluded so all of us teens were able to go back there and party. So if it was the weekend and we wanted to find something to do or find some of our friends we would go to Mabey Canyon. There was always something going on there. We would drink and do what teenagers do up there. It was also like a lovers lane. A great make out spot. It was and probably is still used by teens for this purpose.
In the day time, I also would go up and explore the road. I went to high school with the girl who lived at the house way back in the canyon. Her dad is a doctor who also delivered me when I was born. But thats besides the point. Many times I had gone up the dirt road to see the wall of old cars. If you are driving into the canyon the cars are on your left side. Those old cars were probably taken from a junk yard and were used to build a retaining wall that is next to a seasonal stream. I think it is to keep the dirt road from being washed out. The many times I explored the place I never saw any dogs. The cars look creepy but cool as they are stacked together on their sides. The wall of cars goes into the canyon a ways back. Some of those cars were obvisouly from bad accidents and just looking at them gives you a very strange vibe. That whole canyon has a strange vibe.
Last week, Monday Feb. 15, 2010 I went back again to explore this place and do some photography of those old cars. A cousin and a friend were with me and I drove far back. I was disappointed to find that a lot of the cars can no longer be seen. They are still there just covered under mounds of dirt. Years of weather has covered them and only bits of the cars can be seen. I decided to drive even farthur back, farthur then I had ever gone before and way back on the road many cars could be seen. I took many pictures. The cars are all mostly rusted and dirt has collected on top of the wall of cars and vegitation is starting to take over. Still much of it could be seen. The season stream along side the retaining wall of cars was flowing and it made an errie yet tranquil site. We were very near the house but there were no dogs that came out to bother us. I got many great shots of the old cars.
The ranch styled house way back in the canyon has new owners I think. I drove to the front of their house which is surrounded by large white fences and did a U-turn so I could head back down the narrow road of Mabey Canyon. There was a sign on front of the house that said so and so's Horse Stables. So who ever lives there in that ranch styled house now has horses back there. When we left my cousin and friend were both a bit frightened by the eeriness of the place and although I wasn't scared I even had to admit that there is a really weird vibe out amounst those old cars.

Here are a few pictures I took of Mabey canyon. I used to say, its Mabey Canyon, anything could happen here, maybe...
The California Poppies are popping up everywhere. Naturally, I'm enjoying the view.
Life can be so magical. Time is never wasted when its spent having faith. God has many names and many faces. So many religions exist to accomidate the different types of peoples and cultures to reach their version of understanding. It's not about which God that you believe in, its about believing there is a God and having faith that God takes care of all our needs. I have seen this faith work numerous times in my life and by people of many cultures, beliefs and religions. I have been in different churches and temples with different beliefs but they all amount to the same God. I have prayed in these different churches and temples amoung people of different faiths and have felt the same oneness with the Universe and with the All Mighty Creator. Faith in God can carry a person through anything. All things can be accomplished through faith and God. I have experienced it myself and am thankful to God for every minute of every day. This life I live is graced by God.
Not all of my blogs will be about religion or religious views. I sat down to my computer to write something and this is what came out.
There are some things I know for sure that I can feel in the center of my God created being. God loves us and wants us to be happy, God wants us to care for each other and show compassion toward all things, God shows himself daily in the little things, we can do all things through God, positive thinking gets a person far and that everything happens for a reason. I know that last one seems vague but God has a master plan and even though we can't always see the reason why certain things happen in our life, it is all meant to be. There are things that are much bigger then ourselves that we have yet to understand but have faith. God has a plan and everyone is a part of it.
Thank you God for blessing me in more ways then I can count.
